How are we doing at our Mission of providing Mississippi’s youth a head start in becoming our state’s future business leaders and innovators?
Each year, we train an additional 600 to 800 high school students from across Mississippi. But it doesn’t end with training.
The SEP inspires action.
Action is the dividing line between being an “entrepreneur” and a “wantrepreneur.” How many of us have had the occasional epiphany, a stroke of genius…and just sat on it.
The SEP serves as a conduit for student startups, providing the support network and lean-startup methodology to leverage limited resources and bootstrap their way into business.
Our business plan competition isn’t the objective. It’s simply an opportunity to recognize and showcase how our students are already identifying real local opportunities and taking initiative.
