What:
How much money do you waste on junk food each month? $20? $50? Fueled by student responses to this question, the Making Money Now! award was founded in 2009 and has been recognizing student creativity and initiative ever since. The annual challenge, requiring students to use $10 or less to launch a new venture, has become a key component of the Southern Entrepreneurship Program. Making Money Now! is offered as a standalone opportunity and does not require participation in other SEP events and competitions.
Interested students will need to submit a descriptive story of the business venture(s), including a timeline of activities and a personal response to the question: “What did you learn through this experience?” These stories must be submitted as an 18 to 27-panel comic created through www.Pixton.com.
Contact the SEP to add students to our Pixton license/classroom.
